William's First Haircut

William had his first hair cut last Saturday 12th Sept. His hair was getting quite knotted at the back so whilst we were at Nana's, Paul borrowed the clippers and cut William's hair. He wasn't very happy about it, I think the noise frightened him and he wanted to jump out of the chair into my arms.

I saved all the hair I could into a plastic bag. William now looks about 6 months older and I think has aged a couple of months as well, saying more words and trying to talk heaps!!!

What is this all about?

I don't like this mummy!

Help me mummy!
That was just all too much!

September Sickness

Lots of adventures in September along with lots of colds for William - he now has an ear infection and is on antibiotics and Paul and I have finally caught a cold off him. He has been sick on and off for about 2 months - I think he has been kissing too many girls!!. We spent Father's Day at the Melbourne Museum in the kids area (perfect for big kids too). Paul taught William how to climb a ladder so now he trys to climb everything - (thanks for that Paul). He is saying a lot more words with a couple more teeth coming through.

Up a shoe size this month into flashing Thomas the tank engine runners.

Adventures in August

We finally have a break through and William is sleeping almost 11-12 hours through the night!! Yeh, Paul and I are finally getting some decent sleep - wait until more teething starts again!

William has become obsessed with watching Bob the Builder and it is the same dvd over and over again. I bought a new one to mix it up a bit but he wants the same one every time. I have put Thomas the Tank into the mix as I have been on ebay buying up thomas wooden track for his birthday in October and he has started dancing to the theme song as well.

I bought William a Bob doll yesterday and for a while he didn't want anything to do with it, so I left it next to him while he watched a dvd and I was ironing. I spied him picking Bob up and giving him a kiss and cuddle!

I have to drag William out of child care when he goes on Wednesday's he doesn't want to come home as he is having too much fun playing with the girls and he gets lots of kisses and hugs when he leaves!!!! (Daddy's little boy)

He is starting to copy words and is pointing out birds, dogs, cats, and loves going swimming, remembering the actions to songs and how he should get into the pool after singing a song on the edge of the pool and putting his hand up before jumping in.
