The Trip Home

Our trip home was long and uneventful as long haul flights usually are. William ran into Paul's arms when we came through customs and rode on his shoulders all the way to the car. He has been a bit of a Mummy's boy, but that didn't last long as you can imagine - Daddy all the way now!!

We packed up his toddler bed and moved the change table out of his room to make way for the single bed with Thomas the tank doona on Sunday - it worked well and he is now sleeping in his own "big Thomas bed". A big thank you to Janet and Fred for the Thomas doona and the Thomas trains and track (which was set up constantly in my room at Grandma's and Grandpa's, stepping over it in the night was fun!) - thank you very much also the for DVD's.

Thank you also to Genevieve and Tim for the loads and loads of toys that William had to play with. Pat, I hope Danny the cat is over his trauma of being chased by a 2 year old, thank you for your prayers in the early days, as you can see I think he was listening!

Thank you to Chris & Jools, Mark & Karen, Janet & Michael, Tina & Colin, Peter & Emma, The Birchmores and Mark for your hospitality and the fun we had.

Shiv, I hope you have got that Wiggles song out of your head by now, if you need a reminder, let me know! Tony, I hope you have recovered from the rough and tumble - thank you both for a great weekend in the Cotswolds.

Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for everything, William had a ball and is still asking where you both are and walks into the study to turn the computer on. He will have lasting memory's of our trip. Enjoy the coffee and hope you get some sleep now.

Finally, thank you to Nana and Pop for travelling with us, you made it a lot easier on the plane, and have created memory's we will laugh about for a long time (now stop counting stairs, Pop).

There's our plane Bobby - I wonder when we can get back on?

I'm sick of waiting Pop - me too William!

Thank God for the video's.
