Adventures in August

We finally have a break through and William is sleeping almost 11-12 hours through the night!! Yeh, Paul and I are finally getting some decent sleep - wait until more teething starts again!

William has become obsessed with watching Bob the Builder and it is the same dvd over and over again. I bought a new one to mix it up a bit but he wants the same one every time. I have put Thomas the Tank into the mix as I have been on ebay buying up thomas wooden track for his birthday in October and he has started dancing to the theme song as well.

I bought William a Bob doll yesterday and for a while he didn't want anything to do with it, so I left it next to him while he watched a dvd and I was ironing. I spied him picking Bob up and giving him a kiss and cuddle!

I have to drag William out of child care when he goes on Wednesday's he doesn't want to come home as he is having too much fun playing with the girls and he gets lots of kisses and hugs when he leaves!!!! (Daddy's little boy)

He is starting to copy words and is pointing out birds, dogs, cats, and loves going swimming, remembering the actions to songs and how he should get into the pool after singing a song on the edge of the pool and putting his hand up before jumping in.

William and Esther - Partners in Crime

I didn't have a lot of photos for July until a couple of days ago. Rebecca, Esther, William and I went to a National Premmie Day function at the Tennis Centre held by Life's Little Treasures. William went straight for the cake table - lots of little cups cake decorated with flowers and chocolates. He ran around looking for technology to tamper with and turned off the rolling video display of pictures - he also managed to dim the lights during the speeches and raffle draw!!! Our son the engineer!

After this function Bec and I took the kids to the Melbourne Museum to the kids section specifically and they had a ball - William spent a lot of time in the sand pit with the dinosaur fossils and a paint brush - unearthing the remains (no photos of this unfortuantely) and he loved running around the area pointing up at the things hanging from the ceiling (large earth worm) and at how tall the giraffe was as well as pulling out the drawers with displays of dead animals!

William is as tall as 3 wombats!! - namely 85cm.

Then it was off the Healesville Sanctuary today (we looked after Esther for the day) and they both had a great time, as per the photos and slept all the way home.

Gotta find that girl!

Give us a kiss Esther - (William plants a kiss)

We're good friends - (on the way to Healesville Sanctuary)

I'm a musical guy!

I think I will be an Engineer - just like Daddy

Hey, you guys, give me back my hat - (check out the look on William's face in both photo's!)

It's not funny Daniel - give me back my hat!

To think, we used to fit in here Esther!

Do I make a good brew Esther?
