Chesterfield Farm

Paul spent last Sunday volunteering in the fire areas clearing trees with some friends from the Range Rover Club, so William and I went to Chesterfield Farm with friends from Mother's Group - Rebecca, Owen and Esther.
We watched a cow being milked, a sheep dog at work rounding up sheep, and a shearer shearing a sheep -the rest of the time was spent in the Nursery with the baby animals.
I think William would have enjoyed it even more if he was walking - Esther is walking and she just ran around looking at all of the baby animals - I couldn't let William crawl around on the hay and droppings all over the barn but I did get him out of the pram to go into the bunny enclosure to pat a bunny rabbit when we could get hold of them - they were hiding under the hay bale from all the little kids!

Here are a few photos

Look at the goats Mummy!!

There is a fluffy bunny hiding under here!

I can touch the bunny Mummy!

Looking for more bunnys!!

William and I were driving home one day last week, when he started laughing, I looked in the mirror to see him trying to put his foot in his mouth - it was really funny and he kept trying to do it - when we got home, I told him to do it again and he understood, so I snapped this shot - not quite in the moment but it made me laugh!

See what I can do!!

February

At the risk of sounding like a proud mother - we have one smart little boy on our hands!!

Paul taught William a game using balls from his Giraffe Tower - William puts the ball in Paul's mouth and Paul shoots the ball high into the air - well William laughs and races off to get the ball only to return for a repeat performance. The following morning after his 6am bottle, William picks up the ball and trys to put it in my mouth - he wants to play the game again!!! at 6.30am!!!!

William is stacking his blocks - 3 high, after many attempts and intense concentration for at least 30 mins (this is very rare quite time, so I make the most of it for a quite cuppa) and sorting the blocks into the shape sorter - the round blocks are his favourite and he will do this for ages!!

We have had a round of doctors appointments in the last 2 weeks - ears, eyes and the ped. William's sight is perfect as is his hearing (I knew that already, I can't get away with moving around the house without him knowing it) and Simon (his ped) is very happy with him and we are now on 6 monthly visits - we are extremely lucky!!

William is very chatty and talks all day long except when I want him to perform for others!! and he goes all shy and hides his face in my shoulder - Oh I love it!!!

Fascinated by Pop's apple skin - Willaim finds out that it doesn't taste too good!

But he does love avacado sandwiches!!

Helping Daddy to eat his breakfast - on holidays in Apollo Bay on the Australia Day weekend

Just like his father at the kitchen sink!! William spent ages playing here at Mother's Group
